Anyways, I've been attending an online seminar this week that discusses psychic abilities and it's been really awesome. (Clairvoyance (clear seeing), Clairaudience (clear hearing), Clairsentience (clear feeling), and Claircognizance (clear knowing)). I believe we all have these abilities and that it's not just something "supernatural". It's just a science we haven't discovered yet. (Kind of like figuring out how to open childproof products.) When we were really little my next oldest sister and I could "talk" to each other sometimes without saying a word out loud. We (mostly) outgrew that but if one of us gets into serious emotional distress the other one of us just feels it and knows. All my sisters and me can just "sense" things sometimes. (My mom and grammie too. Like, being a witch is just a family heritage, I guess)

And some may say, "Yes, Random, we know you're psycho and your therapist called to say you're late for your appointment and by the way there's no such thing as being psychic and the Easter Bunny isn't coming either."

But I want u to know I knew u were going to say that!

I think we ALL have at least SOME of that, if not quite a bit and, it's just that we haven't yet figured out how to access it to the fullest extent.
Why do I have dreams that come true years or decades later? Why do I think of someone I hadn't seen in a while and, seconds later, they either show up, call, e-mail or I find out they've just died?

No one is or ever has been. When James Randi was alive he offered a one million dollar prize to anyone who could demonstrate any paranormal power to a group of trained observers. Some people did attempt to claim the prize but none succeeded in demonstarting their imagined ability to trained observers.

I heard some bad things about James like refusing to pay even if it was proven and coming up with nonsensical reasons as to why its not proven. So I don't take his word for it. Plus you'd need to be able and willing to do it to begin with, if you have the ability but are unable or unwilling to travel to him that already would rule that out. I can assure you though that at least telepathy is a very real thing.

As for your unspoken thing with your sister, its very real most people just dismiss it because they lack the ability. In my case I can't do it verbal and only once managed an image. But feelings (such as the headache of someone else, their emotions over distance, etc) are easiest for me, and I had a few instances of remote smell but thats not something I can control. I also used to be able to send taste, but that didn't work anymore in the end.

There's actually multiple people I know who can do it to at least on some level, but most people aren't in the right mindset and assume the wrong things about it. I used to as well, assuming that if I felt their feelings that it was due to my empathy for them. Took me years before I realized what it was.
