Have you heard of diminished returns? psychics might have some intuitive abilities but everything they tell you will only build and lead to diminished gains and returns and they will thwart you from the high road that leads to real high value gains. I know a guy that was supposed to become a dentist but his test results were 1-3% lower then the threshold he needed to get into dental school and the reason he got rejected is that he fell into the wrong scenario, giving up his religion for porn and tarot readers and he might have been a smoker or druggie too cause he smelled like smoke the last time I spoke to him.

I saw a girl that dated a guy I used to like and she made around $225 dollars a year by working as a psychologist. If I had not developed mental issues, in my late teens I'd be making more than that cause at 18 I could memorize 200 to 400 pages a day so I could have effortlessly become a psychologist if I had studied harder but I had self esteem issues and did not apply myself in school. Do not go do any form of fortune telling. You are beautiful and smart and nice and you might marry a Harvard surgeon one day.

Don't waste your time on this guy that I never thought was good enough for you in the first place. I was always surprised you would date him cause I thought you could do better but I wanted to respect you and never told you I thought you were dating down and choosing an inferior prospect when you paired with him.

No. I believe that people can be very perceptive and "read" people using psychology, body language or through what they say, but they are not "psychic," just perceptive and a good judge of character. They can also spot someone who "wants" to believe and use it to their advantage.

I read tarot cards, and there's nothing hoodoo about it. Each card has a universal story that can apply to any person at any time in any situation. It is the suggestion of this story in combination with what the person is focused on that gives it meaning or "ooh, ahhh!" moments, nothing mystical. And I, as a tarot reader, can pick up on these little tells when someone is triggered by something and mold the rest of the cards and story based on how they're reacting.

But in a nutshell, it is not "psychic."

I believe that we are all born with this ability but, parenting and teaching (schools) "brainwash" us into not using, believing in or having it anymore. Mine still shows up from time to time. either I dream stuff that comes true years, or even decades later, or I'll be thinking of someone that I hadn't heard from in a long time and then discover very soon after that they've died or, they suddenly show up in my life in some form. 3 days ago, I was thinking of the song, "Who Are You?" by The Who. I hadn't heard it in decades. Yesterday, someone on a FB page I haven't been to in almost a year posted a video of the song!
About 6 months ago, I found the phone number for Jerry Samuels. A few weeks later, I was thinking of calling him up to talk to him about some of the records he's made. Within 2 days, I heard that he'd just died!

There are people that identify themselves as psychic but if they actually had such powers, why would they be selling a "psychic reading" for $25 instead of using their abilities to make huge profits through investments?

I do not believe it. but wether I believe it or not if it's real then it's real. It's fun to keep an open mind and sometimes look into it. Just like the ghost and entities type of thing, I don't believe it in it but it's real it's real regardless of what anyone believes, and it's fun to have a little scare here and there when sudden sounds are made and can't find the rational reasons why or what made it etc. 😁

I do but that doesn't mean every one you'd encounter is legit. Telepathy is real and the ability to connect people over the internet is also real. The reading aspect does fit within my belief system, but that one is harder to really pinpoint if its truly real or just random chance. What I do know is that the real readers are insanely specific on whats going on even if you don't tell them, and in my case they can feel how my body is feeling before I mention anything.

Are psychics real? Yes, they are human beings.

Do they have special powers? Some think they do.

It's interesting that, for legal reasons, there is usually a sign outside the psychic's door that reads "for entertainment only".

I believe the power behind them is real. I believe there's enough to get people hooked but the truth of where the power comes from gets hidden.

Like with astrology, I prefer to trust the creator, rather than the creation.

I won't ask a computer to explain itself. The universe is no different.

What we do have is intuition. When they shove our phones up our collective butts and can tell us what we had for breakfast, then everyone will be psychic.
