What does god or the bible think of suicide?

Are there consequences for doing such a thing? Like…what does heaven or god think about it? Because what if you’re suffering or tired of life! Like if you have nothing

The Bible doesn't give a clear answer to this. There is no place in the Bible that states you shall not take your own life. So what most Christians would say, there is a verse that says you shall not murder. Then they might add something about your being selfish if you take your own life bit. I don't believe that people who kill themselves go to hell for it. It really depends on what the heart motivations the person had. When life is gets extremely hard, it is hard to hold on and keep going.

Bible said god will punish suicide in book genesis. "for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting" 9:5.

Suffering depends but we have stories of people suffering and hating life in book Jonah and more. Everyone suffers so "walk it off" and don't be lazy but take responsibility set goals be responsible etc.

Oops i almost forgot the places with MOST POVERTY have lowest suicidal rates suicide is not related to suffering but... we western folk have TIME for thinking that luxury is the problem where people ask themselves hard questions but are too lazy.

Sudan and madagascar have more than 70% poverty but only 5 and 12 rate of suicide: per 100,000 far from the highest, we see suffering does not cause suicide but in France and south Korea rate 25 and 28 is DOUBLE rate where people suffer

It doesn't really. God has killed millions in the Bible, and if it's correct, he has personally planned the deaths of over 100,000,000,000 people in history.

As for the Bible, it's wrongly translated ad though shalt not kill. It is actually translated as thou salt not murder.

Suicide is a sin. You kill yourself you are going to hell. That’s what the Bible says about it.

In the 10 commandments “you all not murder” that is believed to mean not even yourself.
