Opinions on suicide?

The act is selfish and short-sighted, but that is what being suicidal is. It is a state of mind where your priorities are not straight, as it is similar to being very tired or hungry - you are not yourself. People who are no longer with us just did not take charge of their life in time, which could be due to a plethora of reasons.

For someone to get to that point where it is urge, it is due to it becoming a habit of instinctively considering it for a long time. That is why people need to evaluate their habits in their life. Unhealthy ones are sneaky by slowly over time negatively impacting you, so you do not know how or what caused it. It is easy to feel depressed due to that.

Anyway, that is my perspective on the matter after having overcomed various issues I had as a teenager like suicidal ideation/urges. Hell, it still happens to some extent, but not enough to where it is an issue or a habit rather.

Stupid but given the people considering it are uber depressed eh oh well. Not going to pretend like they would be a huge loss or even noticed. The only people that would notice would be those in the immediate surroundings. Friends, family. Thing is friends will move on quite quickly so guess little impression was made. Family it depends. Most of the extended family will forget in a few weeks. Parents and siblings tend to suffer the most from a suicide as they are constantly reminded of it. So when it comes to strangers I don't really care as I wouldn't notice and if told I would just go "oh that's too bad" and go about my day. Now my wife or children I would be devastated

It's absolutely one of the worst things a person can do. It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It's the epitome of selfish behavior.

do u think there are any “reasonable’’ causes for doing that? do u think people who did suicide diddn’t go to heaven? if the questions are too much u can not answer them

If you’re going to strictly interpret suicide to include euthanasia…I do feel that for terminal people they should be able to control their time of death. After watching people waste away with cancer it’s torture.

I've had friends take their own lives. It was a total shock but you never really know what other people are going through
