Is suicide justified? If yes, under what circumstances, and if not, why?

Rarely, but most of the time it isn't. It leaves too much of a dark imprint on the people who care about you. Also, suicide most of the time is just short-sighted. So many factors go into our mental health that people don't even realize, so suicide is not the answer.

Life gets better when we choose to make it better. I'm not talking about being happy, but you can get to a point of feeling content. It just requires making good choices. Again, there are exceptions, but most of the time this is the case when poor mental health is the cause.

Yes if the individual has a disease that can't be removed then by all means end the suffering or if someone is depressed to the point that no one can help them as sad as that is

No. The only exception I could possibly see is a soldier facing imminent capture by some group like ISIS, knowing he or she would be facing a sure beheading or other cruel death. But in other cases, no, it's a coward's way out. I know the chronic pain argument already, but medicine has come a long way in pain management.
