yes. I think when someone sees their risk to harm others then it's respectful to save others by ending their life.

In general, suicide is a way of addressing an emotional problem that is seemingly hard to solve. I read a book on emotions, very interesting... and they not only form out of our minds but out of our body "budget".

Lucky for us humans, we are super adaptable, but we gotta have hope and a purpose. The bad news is, we really only change when we hit a "rock bottom", "this is it" moments and are willing to let go and accept what's new, with faith... because it's future oriented. Otherwise, we keep doing what we always have done... expecting different results. Were basically, insane by with the ability to change to a different sanity.

I think there are medical situations where it can be absolutely the right thing if the patient chooses, but I suppose that would be more like euthanasia rather than suicide... splitting hairs...
Personally I've experienced varying degrees of depression at times in my life that the doctor was never really able to find the right med to alleviate the deep blue.
I'm certain there are situations I've never considered that may bring about these thoughts.
Bottom line is I've thought about it myself before and I get it, So how could I really pass a moral judgementt on someone when I don't know their pain?

    Morally no.

I understand why someone would do it.

They are suffering miserably at the time or tired of suffering.

But they aren't seeing the big picture. The people who love them. The support is there some how and someway. They just got to find it.

There is always hope for the misery to end without ending your life.

I think if a person is terminally ill, in a lot of pain, and treatment (if any) causes a lot of pain or discomfort, I think assisted suicide should be perfectly fine. But no one should be pressured to, or not to, consider it.

This is a very hard question because there are people who throw that out there maybe because of what they're going through or what they went through and they are just not mentally physically strong enough to work their way through it I don't think it's morally Justified at all there are older people who have lived their life who lived a happy life that are in so much pain and they're tired of the pain medication they're tired I've just not functioning I think that there should be a way for them to in their life if that's what they want I think that's more moral than somebody just taking their life

I can think of a few scenarios where it is. "I am just going outside and may be some time." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_Oates

    Generally, though, it's pretty selfish.

I would say yes, if one has a terminal illness and was facing a very lengthy agonizing death! (I’m talking to YOU pancreatic cancer!)

At that point it's not their problem anymore. It's only a crime so the state can confiscate their property.

If you are terminally ill I believe it's your right to control your death. However, we see the corruption in Canada when state-sponsored medical suicide is allowed.

Bur its a permanent solution so it must also be a permanent problem. Most people who do take their own life use a permanent solution to a temporary problem. They don't see a way out.
