My first job out of high school was in the city about 15-20 miles away. I did not own a car so I hitchhiked to and from work every day. I used to stand on a traffic island that had a blinking light on it and stuck my thumb out after work and usually I could get a ride in 10- 15 minutes. To get to this traffic island I had to cross a busy turnpike. I always looked both ways and ran across. One Friday night in January I ran across and somehow I was struck by a speeding car. I got a glancing blow but it was enough to send me hurtling through the air. I can remember seeing the hiway coming up close and seeing little bits of broken glass and plastic, the result of a thousand rear enders.
Months earlier a homeless man was hit near that area and cars just kept running him over, thinking he was a pile of rags.
As soon as I was struck, I immediately knew I was dead. I knew I would soon be reduced to a pile of rags. Instead of getting scared, I was strangely calm, thinking it wouldn't be a bad way to go if it didn't hurt too much, besides I wasn't doing anything great with my life anyway.
All of a sudden it got quiet. When I looked up everything was bathed in this weird light, sort of like one of those sodium lamps. All the cars were in slow motion as if they were practically frozen. Somehow I got to my feet and finished running across the road. As soon as I got to the other side everything sped up and went back to normal. As if that wasn't weird enough, I felt like I could sense other people who have had similar experiences.
Then I could taste my own blood and found that I had bit through my lower lip.
I limped for a couple of weeks after that but I never figured out what happened.

I never really believed in ghost stories until I had my own terrifying experience about a year ago.
It was late, probably around 2:30 AM, and I was cramming for a huge exam the next morning. My eyes were exhausted from hours of staring at books. I finally decided to take a break and went to the bathroom to splash some cold water on my face.
When I looked up into the mirror, I froze. Through the reflection, I could clearly see a figure standing directly behind me—it looked like a girl just standing there. But here’s the terrifying part: when I turned around, the room behind me was completely empty.
I immediately thought I was hallucinating from exhaustion. I washed my face again, rubbed my eyes hard, and looked back into the mirror. She was still there, watching me through the glass.
Just then, my aunt walked into the bathroom, likely checking on me because of how late it was. I was shaking, and I told her to look at the mirror. She looked, frowned, and told me I was just hallucinating from stress. She couldn't see anything. Yet, even while she was standing right next to me, I could still see that figure in the mirror behind us.
I still have no logical explanation for it, and I honestly try not to look in mirrors late at night anymore.

Sleep paralysis. It felt more supernatural than just that. I know it's common to see dark figures when you have it but I know for sure mine was probably demons because the moment I started thinking Jesus Christ they went away and I could move again.

The night before the Shoreham air crash I had a vision of it, not all the details were correct, but it was awfully close,,,

I thought of calling police to warn them, but what would have happened?, written off as mentally ill or intoxicated, and ignored,,,

Then a couple of days later I would probably had a knock on the door and possible arrest as a suspected terrorist,,,
