In what real-life ways have you seen Proverbs 11:18 proven true?

Proverbs 11:18 NRSV says the wicked do not earn any real gain, but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

I know people who are wicked and try extremely hard to boost their popularity, attractiveness, and likability, but they are still unattractive to others because they are pathological lies and rarely believed.

I know people who try to boost their social status by picking on their neighbours, but then lose everything when their enemies get those power abusers fired from their jobs.

I know wicked people who use money and status to attract women with no effort or kindness, but their wives turn out to be abusive gold diggers who mistreat them 365 days of the year.

I know wicked parents who try to make their kids rich by abusing them and treating their families like sweat shop factories. But their kids hate them when they become adults and refuse to share their big money, time, love, or care with them.
