I would say that the lack of evidence for reincarnation or rebirth is a really good indicator for it not being the case. Like for something to be true, you would need any positively indicative facts that are also exclusively explaining that one thing and also excluding any other explanation. But there's just nothing at all, so why even think it does exist in the first place? Like there's no such thing as "negative proof of existence" generally speaking. Cause if it doesn't exist, it won't leave traces we could pick up on.

well it is a weak category of proof but: those who claim to prove reincarnation: claim they remember previous life. assuming that is possible, then the fact i don't - is proof no rebirth. therefore they also weren't but used some rehearsed trick and same as me were not really reborn. i am proof. if you also.- don't remember your previous life - then you are proof.

Yes. Reincarnation would require a steady state universe to exist. We know that cannot be the case.
