Does the Bible connect Genesis and Matthew on God promoting or demoting people?

The bible says if you want God to promote you, you have to bless, respect, help and honour God’s children.

Because if you curse, disrespect, neglect, and mock God’s children, God will demote you.

I know Christian’s that helped God’s children who got PhD’s at elite schools.

I know unbelievers who tried to sabotage God’s children that developed health problems that forced them on welfare.
