Is life mostly planned or random, and how can we really tell?

Neither. The demons cause frustrating situations in life. Not random.

and the guardian angel almost always protects from severe injury. But not if it was destiny. Which is rare.

Wait you don't mean personal life do you? Are you asking about life in terms of creation? Like bible?

We know: randomly spelling chemicals, even only the needed ones for a cell, just those specific ones, they will never attach to form even one tiny bacteria. Certainly a random mix of chemicals. So life must have been planned by a creator.

Well the stereotypical image of what we call "God" isn't the only way things can not be random or planned.

Well "planning" implies conscious thought by some self aware entity. And outside of humans what evidence do we have that anything is planning anything.

Is a hawk planning on having that rabbit for lunch? OK.

Who is planning the weather that produces gentle rain or a hurricane?

Who's planning out which of us get cancer?

Who's planning out who we're gonna meet in 6 months?

Who's planning out volcanic eruptions?

Who's planning out solar flares?

Mine is pretty planned. I have a work schedule. I have a class schedule during the school year. We plan on meals and where, etc.
