Has the MeToo movement made modern dating unfair for Christian men?

Here it is, I am a good Christians are being hurt, by women, as we will not treat women the way Andrew Tate style. But who fault is it?

I don't think it's the metoo movement exactly, it's a specific strand of modern feminism that was growing louder around that era. It exaggerates the prevalence of SA in western countries (which are truly more common than many men think, but it's not like every other woman has been textbook raped and gets groped everywhere she goes) and unfairly portrays the average man as being a potential rapist or paints behavior that isn't necessarily inherently creepy as creepy, or takes a bit problematic behavior and makes it to be more severe than it is. But then there's the reactionnary push against metoo (which by the way was started by none other than jeffrey epstein), who twists the metoo movement and related subjects to make it look silly or more witch hunty than it really is for political, financial and/or ideological gain. A decent amount of certain figures who go on a crusade against it, are people who are accused of severe sex crimes or have been convicted of said crimes as well.

I see right wing guys often say that they're afraid to approach women because of it, but I think that's really mostly something they're getting from their highly biased ragebaity content they're consuming. The only thing I can understand could be a problem for a good regular guy, is that some young women could think by just hitting on them or kinda looking at them, you're harassing them when you're not.

Aside from that there's no reason to be worried about being unfairly accused of assault or rape as a decent christian dude. It's hard to mistake consentual sex for assault and be so convinced it's rape that they go to the police when nothing like that happened. Only a genuine psychopath or a schizophrenic would do that.

I really don't like the bad reputation that rightwingers give metoo. There are flaws though obviously, but it's done a lot of good. For women and girls, I think it's probably the best thing that happened this century so far. Even though SA isn't like 1 in 3 or something like some crazies claim, it's still a lot more prevalent than it should be in western countries, and sexual harassement and pedo behavior though is so so common. Everyone female has experienced forms of sexual harassment and being preyed on in some way by adults when underage, at least multiple times.

It seems fair to argue that figures like Andrew Tate could only become popular because they created an opposition to the MeToo movements effects.

So their popularity is, in my view, linked.

That said speaking as a man I will look down on any man who subscribes to the Andrew Tates of the world with pity. You have to be a special kind of pathetic to buy into that.

I imagine most women feel similarly, if less strongly, about the MeToo agenda of labelling every man a horrible human being for even simple things like asking someone out.

I do think we're moving away from both now. The becoming adults now probably do not know or care for MeToo and most will consider Andrew Tate a sex trafficker and loser.
