What do we think of evolution? Did God really create us all?

Evolution 100%. It's silly to believe the creation myth of a primitive tribe of desert-dwelling goat herders who imagined that they were the center of the universe and were envious and resentful of the more advanced civilizations they encountered.
Aside from the Genesis story, they invented tales of their greatness, such as escape from bondage in Egypt and the conquering of Canaan, that have been thoroughly disproven, even by Israeli scholars.

Primitive people imagined that gods created thunder and lightning, floods, droughts, pestilence and disease. They had no idea how mountains, canyons or anything else was created.
The Hebrew myth says that their god created everything - mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans, and all creatures - in 6 days. How can anyone still believe that?

Paleontology and genetics continues to prove the existence of more than 20 extinct species of early humans and their bipedal ancestors (hominins) have been identified in the fossil record spanning roughly 7 million years. Evidence has been discovered that some of those species made clothing, tools and art, hunted cooperatively, harnessed fire, cared for each other, and buried their dead. They weren't apes.

According to fossil records, our own species emerged around 300,000 years ago. Several other species still existed at the same time.
Some people today have bits of neanderthal and denisovian DNA, which indicates cross breeding between different species.

We still have a lot to learn. But the silliest thing is to ignore research and solid evidence and, instead, cling to an ancient creation myth.

I prefer science, over religion, due to the fact that science can present quantifiable, reproduceable results, and isn't afraid to re-evaluate theories based on new evidence.

Religion relies upon faith, in the absence of proof. Since I like evidence-based reasoning, I choose to believe the science.

Current scientific evidence suggests that we evolved. We have evidence of evolution, and can trace the lineages of many species, including humans.

There is no hard evidence that we were created by some form of a supreme being. If, at some point in the future, some compelling evidence is discovered that we were, then I will re-eveluate what I believe.

Physical Matter had to come from somewhere. Maybe the Big Bang is the way that an intelligent energy created matter. The rest is certainly evolution. I understand the disbelief in the stories that were generated by myth. But the question had to start somewhere. Some form of explanation. Remember they were only shepherds. Not the brightest. Even Jesus had trouble with his disciples misunderstanding many things. It seems they always got it wrong. Even today we suffer from our concepts of who or what God is. He ain't Charlton Heston.

Entity in shape religions try to sell god their sheep doesn't exist. Everything else is environmental adaptation because universe has rules and those rules were defined by something but it wasn't a man who creates clay figures and magically turn them into living beings.

Adam and Eve were not homosapien like us. It's unlikely their children were either.

God did promise them that the good of their children would prosper. We see that in the fossils that various species did well in some things and poor at others. We share DNA with nearly every "human" fossil we've found. We've done better than nearly every one of our ancestors.

No body agrees with me. But it is a combination of the two. Physical matter had to be created by the big bang. before evolution could occur. Energy to matter, that is something we are having big problems with. Our Creator did not.
