Questions: Religion & Spirituality

For those of you who believe in heaven and god, this is something I’ve always wondered. I’ve heard many different answers ranging from all being saved, to basically nobody getting into heaven. Each idea having its own group of verses and scholars to support it. So what do you guys think?

I personally think that god, being perfect, would presumably be reasonable, and understanding, and would therefore understand that human beings are never perfect. He would not put before us a challenge he knew we stood no chance of overcoming, at least not in this case. Especially since, being omnibenevolent, he presumably hopes for all of us to go to heaven. I also reckon that heaven does have some standards. So he probably does demand that we be overall good, or at least have a root of goodness in us.

An inspired Apostle Paul wrote this long ago about knowledge and wisdom.

Do you think that is true? Maybe it is just true for some people... Jesus said, not everyone was His, his follower. Maybe some people would prefer all knowledge.

1 Corinthians

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, b but do not have love, I gain nothing.

So if you knew everything, like who killed JFK, and why everything happened and how... but you wouldn't get love.

The other option is... you are loved eternally...

which would you take?

To me... it's an easy choice... once I had all knowledge, I'd be bored and want love!

Without god where does your guidance and values come from? Modern propaganda? LGBT?
