Who goes to heaven?

For those of you who believe in heaven and god, this is something I’ve always wondered. I’ve heard many different answers ranging from all being saved, to basically nobody getting into heaven. Each idea having its own group of verses and scholars to support it. So what do you guys think?

I personally think that god, being perfect, would presumably be reasonable, and understanding, and would therefore understand that human beings are never perfect. He would not put before us a challenge he knew we stood no chance of overcoming, at least not in this case. Especially since, being omnibenevolent, he presumably hopes for all of us to go to heaven. I also reckon that heaven does have some standards. So he probably does demand that we be overall good, or at least have a root of goodness in us.

--Satan's fall is why one can't just make it into heaven, should be almost common sense. Satan is at war with God, his law his rules which is why he was thrown out. It's the same with us, we can't just willingly not follow God's law and expect to make it into heaven. There is no "through grace we are saved let's sin!🔫😀🔪" verse in the bible.

Speaking of originals, which did you choose? Those texts weren't printed. They were repetitively hand copied by lazy, low wage workers. They often took shortcuts with the verse, paraphrasing long passages for instance.

Over time, verses have been added and deleted to serve monetary purposes, be them the British government or publishers'.

Comparisons as for the kjv?, how about cuneiform tablets, the dead sea scrolls and the old testament is pretty much the torah and tannak minus the book of Enoch. The KJV is largely unchanged, the most accurate in the English language.

Using numbers to divine information is actually witchcraft. The originals probably would have been in Aramaic, and the KJV, while considered fairly true to the original, wasn’t written until like the 16th century. You can copy paste the original text, but because the Bible usually conveys messages by metaphor or parable, those metaphors and parables are subject to different interpretations.

Divination is a sin. The Bible is pretty clear about that. Numerology is divination. The idea of 666 is not divination because it is explicitly stated in the Bible. There’s no sooth saying or interpretation involved. It is in clear and plain text.

It is a number of a MAN and we have to look for that man and understand who indeed is the beast by looking for his number which is 666.

To be quite frank the catholic church changed the solemnity of the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday to show their "mark" of authority in the 4th century. Whoever worships on the Sunday worships the beast and his image. It's no coincidence the bible says to "remember" the sabbath day as if God knew people would forget, but not the rest of the 9 commandments.

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins, infirmities, sickness, pain, turmoil and unworthiness. He died to redeem us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).

He is the only reason why we can be granted salvation and be in Heaven without Works. No amount of works can redeem us or the sins we commit. We should and can try to avoid sin, but consider that a wrong thought or a lustful glance = sin. Are there any among you that can control all of your thoughts and gaze for your entire life. Can any of you be perfect for your whole life?

You will be judged on your works, but works are separate to your salvation.

Also bear in mind that Satan was the one trying to keep us out of Heaven and Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. The Devil knows that human beings, particularly when under the curse of the law, and being led by the flesh cannot avoid sin 100%. But Jesus could and did on humanities behalf.

When you truly believe and have a relationship with Jesus, you start to live and walk as He did. Your mind becomes renewed by the Word. Your faith grows. The Holy Spirit is within you and changes everything!

When I say living and walking as He did. I was referring to how a person becomes more like Him in their action, thoughts, beliefs and how they treat others. Acts may well be a part of that but my focus was more on the behavior in general.

When your mind is renewed by the Word, your heart is transformed and you will not want to commit sin. You will not want to conform to the living of a 'consequence free' sinful life. When the gravity of His sacrifice is understood, you start to look at your actions very differently.

If you look at Ephesians 4 and 4:30. What do you think becomes of a person when Word becomes flesh and that scripture becomes a part of them...

Sadly, MOST people in this world will miss Heaven and will end up in Hell. Let me break it down for you:

1. The Bible is very clear that Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven.

2. Jesus himself states that reading the Bible and going to church is not enough to get to Heaven, nor are even good deeds. Even demons know and believe Jesus exists. The key to getting to Heaven is to have a true relationship with Jesus.

3. Jesus knows we are not perfect. That is why he went to the cross to pay the price for our sin. However, to activate the power of his blood, we have to actively invite Jesus into every part of our lives. Walking in obedience to him is a key sign of this.
