Without god where does your guidance and values come from? Modern propaganda? LGBT?

I am not religious. But I believe most morals, values and principles come from someones upbringing and from his/hers soul. Especially if your parents taught you moral-A, you will most likely always live in that moral till you get older, develop yourself and start living fo yourself. And most things like morals and values also comes from someones soul itself. Deep within outself we know some stuff is bad. But then we come with excuses why we still do bad stuff. "I had a bad childhood so I will make others feel the same pain as me" "I'm already fat so one extra double-cheeseburger won't make a difference". "There are already milions of people dying each year, so murdering 1 person won't make a difference". Ofcourse these things can also be used in the positive way. "I had a bad childhood so I will make sure others will never feel the same pain as me" "I'm already fat but not eating this one extra double-cheeseburger won't make a difference, but its already a great step into becoming healthier". "There are already milions of people dying each year, but murdering people is bad".

precisely the "woke" rules make them feel holy, like they are good for obeying, for how they speak or not speak. but those rules only apply to words... that nobody bleeds from words. so not even important.

meanwhile in action American immorality and harm and pain are ignored who cares that infants get pain and bleed in circumcision of girls and boys.

who cares that a human fetus can feel pein like after birth and even dies in abortion. no morality.
all societies without god are less moral. more human fetus killed in u. s. each decade than humans killed by each stalin or hitler or isis.

Why are people neglecting god?

Because the bearded guy in the sky is like santa claus, satan, the boogeyman, and so forth. He does not exist.

Therefore, you may start to listen to "modern propaganda" with more of an open mind. Take what you like, leave what you don't. Make your own decisions, get to know yourself, explore the world, read about all kinds of subjects.

That's where guidance and values come from for people, when they don't cower in fear in front of an imaginary bully who threatens them with eternal suffering every chance he gets.

Propaganda existed in ultra religious medieval Europe and exists in religious dominated countries with sharia laws. It's just another type of propaganda.

But also, I see religious institutions suckering their patrons out of money.

Reason! I think the vast majority of people dislike violence and to keep it to a minimum we have installed laws and as for our morals and values, I suppose they come from people doing their best to avoid conflict with their neighbors.

Flip the argument, if morals and values come from God, is he then becoming weaker since less and less subscribe to those morals or is the devil becoming stronger?

Because there's no proof that God exists. I believe that the universe was created by a Big Bang that happened 13.8 billion years ago. That's much more believable than the existence of God.
