my cousin who was a heroine addicted past away last year. after so many years of triumph and relapses going through rehab he suddenly hit the point of no return and overdosed this same month last year.
as devastating as his death was to me and my whole family we admit it did not come as a surprised to us do to the condition he was in. again in the past he would always succeed in rehab and would go back to his normal state of being. but this time he when so deep into his addiction that he literally changed biologically speaking. months before he past away I remember he couldnt even speak a full sentence. anyways till this day we are far more shocked and confused as to why he started using heroine in the first place. we will probably never find out why until perhaps we all reunite with him someday, unless the universe decides to give us the answer before that.
so getting to the point last the other day I had a dream that I ran into him at a liquor store. I'm not a drinker myself so I do not know what and why I was buying liquor in my dream but I remember that when I approached the register I bumped into him and we greeted each other. we used to call each other "cuzz" so I remember telling him "hey what's up cuzz, I thought you were no longer part of this world, is nice to see you" and he replied "nah cuzz, I didn't go no where. I was just taking a break from this world."
since then I been wondering what's that really him, my cousin trying to speak to me from the past life? or was this just my subconscious using my cousin's image to indicate something?
till then this is not the first time I see a dead relative of mines talking to me in my dreams, but I dont remember what they've said as clearly as I did with my cousin that night
