it comes from some philosipher imagining hell. n made famous by modern films.

but not really a christian list. churches don't emphasize them except anger in gospel matthew 5. so "wrath worse" than others not sins nor important. nor "deadly".

the sin that is truly WORST is in book gospel john 3 the guilt of not believed.

They are all connected, greed isn't just for money it can be for anything enviness can lead to wrath, being prideful can lead to wrath and enviness, enviness, pride, greed and wrath can lead to lust (ever heard of revenge cheating) one can be greedy for lust too, you can be greedy for food which leads to gluttony and it can keep going so etc.

Ambition is good but greed is immoral because the personal would be willing to do anything for money. Including taking of advantage of people, lying, stealing etc.

Next is wrath which can lead to abuse, and lust which can cause a betrayal.

Objectively speaking, pride is because it is the root of all sin. It says, to one degree or another and in one way or another, that the person is greater than God. It's either a rejection of His Law or of His Mercy and Love.
