I chose the Obama presidency.

I remember the day Obama was elected. I was only 14 years old, but I had this inner sense that something was terribly wrong. As a young adolescent, I was naive and never involved in politics, but my gut instinct set off alarms and I knew our nation was in for a world of hurt.

Obama's presidency sparked a new era of aggressive, radical, woke, and socialist movements that rapidly evolved and transformed the United States into the divisive battleground it is today.

Under his so-called leadership, traditional American morals and values were spiraling into a deep decline. I remember "social justice" issues being forced down the throats of people. Opposition to leftist policies and ideologies was met with accusations of "racism" and "bigotry". I felt the Obama administration encouraged and even facilitated this
behavior.

The socio-political divide continued to grow even stronger to where one was even hesitant to voice opposing opinions due to the likelihood of being alienated by friends and even family members with left-leaning views.

Shortly into his presidency, my family faced a lot of financial woes. My family was a stable, middle-class family. My father took a job back in my home state, and my parents had to sell the house. During this time, the housing crisis hit, causing my parents to lose tens of thousands of dollars. While my family was struggling, I remember gas prices soared to around $4 a gallon. Once a prosperous family that was able to eat out at restaurants often, I remember us worried about affording to put food on the table. It was scary times. Now, I don't know if this is entirely Obama's fault. There is speculation that a lot of economic challenges were a result of the Bush era. I cannot confirm either way, but I felt Obama didn't help the situation either.

Bottom line, since the Obama presidency, a lot of bad turn of events occurred, even many years after he left office.

I would argue that most men are instinctually protective and caring towards women vs. abusive/violent.

If they weren’t then the majority of women living 200+ years ago would of been consistently raped, beaten, abused by men. Even though that was much more common back then I will never believe the majority of women suffered that on a grand scale. Most men don’t naturally enjoy harming women.

Sure “patriarchy” was the law of the land for most of human history. But I truly believe most men have are instinctually protective over women and wanted them to be happy. They didn’t see them as “slaves” either. They would be like this WITHOUT feminism.

Now allowing women in the work force, leadership, positions of power is a different topic. Of course that was a major issue for most of humanity. But I am really fed up with feminists who believe that men in general would all act on their débase and violent instincts if given the opportunity. Fed up with their false belief that all men are “potential rapists”

Most men aren’t like that no matter what time era they lived and/or if they had to face punishment for their bad behavior or not.
