So my boyfriend is a nurse. Big and buff with muscles but has started to gain weight so its half muscle half fat (which I love). I'm almost done with nursing school. And I'm like cubby but sexy curvy LOL I dont have insecurities. I use to but it has taken soooo much time to realize my self beautiful.

My dilemma: I'm in this 6 Month relationship with a guy who checks almost everything off my list. Which is hard to find and I know no one is perfect but to me he is... I feel like... I'm giving 100% and I'm getting back 20% because of this lack of feedback I am starting to feel insecure again and this is a feeling I have been trying to get out for years. He is ideal perfect but he is also lacking in the loving factor. I have talked to him about this multiple times in person and he said he's just scared to show emotion... but the more he doesn't the more I wanna leave. Maybe I'm officially back into being insecure but when I see him at work texting or when I dont get any emotional feedback I feel like I am not his everything. i also feel like he could be texting someone else but he isn't that type of person I just always catch myself in an emotional wreck begging for some type of emotional response. What should I do. ?

Hello everyone my name is Ravenna aka bunny and Im in love with Asian guys just I don't know if they date black girls I have had experiences where I did like a few Asian guys but they only dated there own race and also my family (mostly my uncles aunties cousins) don't want me to date a Asian guy they say I must have my relationship and first baby with a black man but im simply not attracted to dating my own race which brings up unwanted conversation in the family and they make it seem like it's my fault that I think this way and just won't allow it to the point I can't even stop getting stares (worst ones) from my whole family I live in San Francisco where you'll see a lot of interracial couples and I love seeing that except for my family... but I love Asian guys though but should I stop looking and give up cause I don't even know if THEY do or don't like me Im trying hard to find my ideal Asian guy (the funny one who's very healthy with a great personality adventurous and love going places and vlog and stuff) I need help what should I do? Should I follow my heart and keep searching? Or listen to my family and go with my own race PLUS if y'all can help me out with this one... Where are good places to look for Asian guys in San Francisco Fremont Hayward and around San Francisco cities?

There are a lot of people who say that women should be obedient to their partners, but I personally think it should be mutual. By that I mean, a person should obey their partner if their partner doesn't want them to do something that could potentially harm the partner.

For example, since alcohol can lead to domestic violence (which would obviously harm the partner), a person should obey their partner if the partner doesn't want them to drink excessively. This is mutual. It has nothing to do with gender, but rather, keeping in mind the safety of one's partner.

Admittedly, in a hetero relationship, there may be certain scenarios in which the man has more of a right to forbid something than a woman would. For example, men are generally expected to act as protectors for their partners, so it'd be more justified to a man to want to forbid his partner from going to a dangerous place (since, if something happens, he'll be endangered by being expected to protect).

Of course, none of these "prohibitions" should be by force. It's just ideal that they should be obeyed, and if not, the person is free to just exit the relationship if they're not willing to create a reality in which their partner is safe.
