28F & I haven’t ever been in a LTR, I saw someone for a few months when I was 23 & that felt like settling. The bar is set even higher now & I’d rather be single than in a mediocre relationship. Ever since I was a teen I always felt like a lot of the girls were boy crazy & were so hyped about sex I thought they were overreacting. I thought I was a late bloomer & figured that feeling would happen to me eventually but it still hasn’t. I never really felt the pressure to date until I was close to graduating HS/ starting college & even then I had this feeling that felt kind of ick. I still do & the fact that I don’t care about sex at all to this day makes me think about asexuality. But I battle between wondering if I want companionship, hence I use the dating apps casually. Overthinking it & deep down does it just sound like I haven’t found the right person?

I’ve noticed tyst if you aren’t saying you just want sex or you want to be in a relationship, there’s a lot of sleig View like it’s a game or something. in my opinion if you say you want to get to know someone— it’s the most honest way of communicating.

Unless you really are just looking for sex, how does anyone know if they want to date a person let alone be in a relationship with them if they do 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you still feel the need to get better acquainted I don’t see the problem.

It is funny how propaganda works bc I know when people say this to me I can still hear it as a euphemism for sex BUT only bc people will use it that way & not bc I think there’s anything inherently wrong with _really_ just wanting to get to know someone.

I’m never on the hunt for a boyfriend so if I meet someone I want to get to know better that’s all I know I can honestly say. And I think that should be good.

Seriously what more can you ask of a person lol “ I’m interested in getting to know you better.” I think this is much better than jumping into boxes just bc for no particular reason..

Of course if someone knows they want to date then go for it— It’s just not my approach and I find it funny wanting to get to know someone is Suspect 😂

I don't use it but I have several girlfriends and some guy friends that do and most of them say there is an erotic enhancement to having sex when stoned... are they right, or not so much?

In some cases some of my nudist and non-nudist girlfriends grow it for themselves which is legal to do in California with a Medical Marijuana Permit. Even though I don't use it, I do like the smell of it.

Many of my friends enjoy exhibitionism and being watched, even during sex, and have asked me to get nude with them since I am a nudist. But sometimes one of them or their friends try to get me to smoke some of it with them. Most of them know that I don't need any more sexual enhancement... for the safety of others... lol

28F, only thing I know for certain is I have anxiety & my self esteem could be better. But, nothing too terrible that makes me incapable of finding a LTR. I’ve been on and off dating apps for years, I don’t get how they don’t work for me as it’s known women have it easier & people tell me I’m attractive (not just family/friends). I have to use the apps bc I never get approached in person, I get the matches but in the end it just doesn’t work out. The last time I saw someone I was 23 & that only lasted for a few months. I met up with someone for the first time in almost 2 years last week & I didn’t even stay for the whole time, I left after maybe 15 min bc I wasn’t feeling it (even though chatting went well on the app), I had a long day, wanted to leave before the drinks arrived since I didn’t want him to get charged & most of all I was worried he was gay (by his voice). I usually video chat before but moving fwd that’s non-negotiable. Oddly enough I still don’t think it’s my fault for being single this long, yes I’ve tried counseling/medication & it was a bust. Can an almost 30 yr old woman date while being anxious, insecure, reserved & close to being maybe on the asexual spectrum?
