We constantly have people who believe in the wind when it can't be seen. Of course we can see its effects but we still trust that it is the wind doing it without seeing it.

People struggle to trust God exists because they say we can't see Him, which in all fairness is true if we are talking about physically. That's how the best answer when you say why you don't believe in God because you don't say the exact same thing about the wind. Maybe it is the lack of impact you associate God to have in the physical world.

People who believe in God are just afraid, they lack self-esteem and they've an entity to cling on to in order to assuage these fears. Is this observation accurate? People who pray, pray for health, financial security, finding a partner and so many things.

But if hypothetically, a person trusted the Universe or God or whatever supreme they regard, completely 100%, such fears and prayers wouldn't exist. And so prayer or any anxiety or fear is based on a lack of such a 100% assurance. What are your thoughts on it?
