When I was hanging out with/dating my ex, even after we broke up, I didn’t see how toxic it was. Now I do. He would:
- Take digs at my religious beliefs
- Make me feel bad for what I wear (cause I don’t wear fancy clothes)
- Criticise my family (happened once or twice)
- When I’d get upset, he’d make me feel silly
- He’d apologise and then still keep doing the same thing he apologised for
- Criticise my friends before he even met them
- Call me a ‘square’ because I never wanted to do the wrong thing. What?
- Pressure me into doing the wrong thing
- After we broke up, I invited him over. He wanted to sleep with me but I didn’t feel like it, so he started saying things like “why am I even here? I could be at home right now” and guilt tripped me
- Used me for my car because he didn’t have one

Well i have schizotypal personality disorder. It makes it hard for me to make friends.

I developed this disorder from mental and physical abuse from my mother. To survive, i kept to myself and imagined i had a loving heavenly mother. I was beat up a lot as a child, told that everyone hated me and that people would be happier if i killed myself because everyone thinks everything i say and do is wrong... So now i have this disorder, social anxiety and just general anxiety disorder. I have issues being around people. I can't sleep at night after socializing. I analyze everything i said to them and everything anyone said to me.

But i am not a bad person. I also want friends!! Should i tell people i meet i have this disorder?
