In high school, I was friends with a girl named Laura. She was absolutely beautiful: blond hair, blue eyes, great physique, athletic, friendly, a cheerleader but not pretentious or snobbish. I lusted for her but knew that I was not mature enough to date before I left high school at age 16.

A few years ago, Laura contacted me on Facebook in connection with our 45th high school reunion; I had not attended a reunion since our 5th. I decided to attend because I was divorced, in a failing relationship, and I wanted to see if any of my female classmates might be single and available.

When I met Laura, I was shocked. She had gained so much weight. . . it was like the photo above, except it was real and not just photoshopped. She had developed a medical problem which required her to frequently use systemic steroidal medications, and that had caused tremendous weight gain. She was still nice, sweet, very pleasant, etc. and she was single and seemed to be interested in me but I could not get past the horrible physical transformation. I know - please don't remind me - that I should not judge her solely by her physical appearance, but the idea of lusting for her was impossible to imagine. . . and I felt guilty about that. . . and disappointed. . . and sympathetic about her medical condition.

Last week, comedian Jon Stewart appeared in front of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties to address the upcoming bill to extend funding for victims of 9/11 beyond 2020. Appearing alongside
dozens of Sept. 11 victims, Stewart's appearance before the subcommittee received national attention because of his impassioned speech that criticized Congress for their inaction and lackluster attendance during the hearing. Stewart said that the empty seats in front of him were "an embarrassment to the country and a stain on the institution."

The subcommittee consists of 14 members, 12 of whom were present for the hearing. The absent members of the subcommittee were Reps. Eric Swalwell, D-Ca., and Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa.

Wiki definition of False Flag: A false flag is a covert operation designed to deceive; the deception creates the appearance of a particular party, group, or nation being responsible for some activity, disguising the actual source of responsibility.

While the world seems to be spinning in every direction with accusations and blaring headlines, do you think you've witnessed a false flag? Typically when a random event that shakens/angers the public is immediately politicized, i tend to get skeptical. For example, mass shootings occured a lot in 2018. But after almost every one, it briefly went over the victims and went straight to how we should increase gun control. Over and over again. And the strategy of Problem>Reaction>Solution is very effective. When you are in a fearful/traumatized state, you do not think logically. You instinctively take what you can get to protect yourself. So how do 'they' propose we stop these mass shootings? They want to essentially outlaw them. Slowly but surely. First by turning a constitutional right into a privilege and make it something you have to earn. Then tell you what kind of weapons you can an can not have. Then take away attachments for those weapons. And that's where we're at right now. But it can not be done without fear. A person who uses discernment and logic will not give away what is rightfully theirs. That is one example out of many. More recently, mass shootings or public threats are pointing at 8chan and supposed conspiracy theories. Before this it was Qanon (who posts on 8chan) but the news doesn't seem to speak about Qanon anymore, only the platform that Qanon uses which is 8chan. Where they claim radical right winged conspiracy theories are a threat and all suggest something needs to be done about it. What do you think? Are false flags something of the past? Maybe they happen but not that often. Or maybe they happen so much that a false flags are typically leverage points to push an agenda. Thoughts below 👇👇👇

Ok so my mom has recently got the opportunity to play the dead chick in a local crime show on investigation discovery... Don't ask me details as it's confidential. Either ways she loves this show and is super excited about her appearance in 3 episodes. Only problem she's killed off in all 3 episodes and plays the dead victim LOL... Should I support mum for these gigs?

I'm wondering if phobias and fears should always be cured. Why/why not? Should you always exposure yourself to things because of your own fears? #Phobia #Fears #Afraid

I've a lot of phobias and fears.
Phobias: Dogs, snakes, balls, balloons, astronaut suits, space.
Fears: Losing a loved one, rape, violence (criminals exists), the dark, injuries and blood that looks real in certain contexts. (Not fake stuffs like GoT).

I fear dogs because of I was almost attacked by one when I was 5, but the owner stopped it. Snakes has a disgusting appearance, I've been injured in soccer and balloons makes an awful sound. Space and astronaut phobia were something I got after a scary movie. Don't like horror movies either.

I don't like the look of injuries, dead people or blood either. Crushed and disfigured faces are the worst. E. g. Paul Walker, but way worse. Yes, traffic teachers will show you stuffs like that. If I watch a movie or real pictures of it I've trouble sleeping. I've no problem with fake looking stuffs in "kids" shows like GoT (Red wedding, Arya Stark + Meryn Trant), but real looking stuffs like in Gravity (2013), documentaries and pictures from the news makes me go crazy. Pictures of war victims, injured car accident victims etc. can make me sleepless for days. People saying GoT is bloody hasn't seen the real stuffs. Most beheading, hanging and other execution scenes in movies looks fake. Especially in the medieval ones and these ones that aren't horror movies or real pictures.
