One of my best friends and my future sister in law (fiancé's sister and a newer best friend to me) are getting married on the same day.

My sister in law told me about her wedding first and I began helping her majorly in the process. She wanted me to be a part of the wedding, but hadn't asked me to be a bridesmaid. Later, one of my best friends from Kindergarten told me she wanted me to be in her wedding and that it was going to be on the same day as my sister in law's. She said she'd understand if I had to miss part of her reception to go to my sister in law's reception.

If I want to make any bit of my sister in law's reception, I would not be able to attend my friend's reception at all.

Both are very important to me, as one wedding is for a best friend and the other is for family, so I'd like to try to attend both. However, I have had some people tell me that I absolutely should not divide my time since I am in one of the wedding parties.

I am definitely going to my friend's bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and ceremony, but is it rude if I have to leave to go to my sister in law's reception? What would you do?

My deceased aunt was a very difficult person. Base, on these two things she did would you say she was evil?

The couch incident:
Way before marrying her husband, she destroyed her future sister-in-law's couch with a knife. Her parents and half-sister knew it but said nothing. That was a new, expensive couch. While the lady was upset and in tears (asking who could have done this), my aunt was hiding and laughing.

The food incidents:
Incident 1
When her oldest son was dating, she tried to put a small piece of bone on the girl's (the son's gf) sandwich. They noticed the bone and took it off.
Incident 2
When her son got married, she put something in her daughter-in-law's plate. Her son switched the plates. Then she called and asked her son ''how is your wife doing, is she feeling better'' only to find out her son was the one having diarrhea.

It is scary how many childhood actors became drug addicts, alcoholics, criminals or suffered other serious psychological issues as a result of completely loosing out on a normal childhood to a an exhaustive daily routine of forced labor for no other reason than to make their parents rich and to feed their egos, narcissism and self centeredness.

The ones that were able to continue the success were very lucky, as most were not. Even many of the ones who went on to acting success still suffered from the lack of a normal childhood.

Yes, they have passed laws to provide some safeguards for the money that the child makes being protected for their futures, and working limits, but I think that children should be allowed a normal childhood. Those with a gift for acting could participate in theater at their school and when finished could make the decision on their own to seek a full time career in theatrical arts if that is what they desire.
