On my birthday my boyfriend was visiting his mother, I was fine with it, and he met me on the weekends, he gave me a bottle of wine said it's very expensive, it's mine now, I can decide however I want, bring home to share with friends or drink here, I said let me leave it in your of your place first, I will take it away. That night there was no birthday cake or birthday meal, the other morning I left and forget to bring the wine. After that he didn't mention the wine anymore. One week later he visit his best friend birthday, took three hours train and bought him a perfume. I said great, he said it's not price but the gesture and heart that he put in, I asked him but why U don't remind me to bring my birthday gift for so long, I think U just don't care about my birthday and when U bought the wine U also did not really put that much heart inside. He said I should appreciate it, because I just got a Dior lipstick on velentise day, I shouldn't complain or compare too much, why can't we just have nice meals and I should appreciate that he invited me meals everytime. But I also cook for him many times and bring fruits and honey and junger everytime he got ill, I never ask him to appreciate me. Should I break up with him?

I've become strict this year and developed boundaries. My mother confuses it for bitterness. I don't think so. Is what happened to me, the reason kind people are harder to find?

Emotional bullies:
At school, they take pleasure in humiliating you, have little to no empathy. They expect you to forgive and forget, act as if nothing happened when greeting you. This is the same as cleaning someone's mess and be ok with it.

Fake friends and family members.
I once forgave a female bully after a physical fight. I fell for her fake apology, fake tears and handshake. I didn't realize girls don't function the same way as guys. She faked it all for a year and gave me a fake phone number on my yearbook. Certain members in the family are only there for you during your success and good times but not during bad moments.

Takers:
The take and take... and the more kind you are... the more they take. They have no shame in how they're acting. However, if you need a favor all of the sudden they're busy, ghost you or are unavailable. They are online seeing your message and don't respond back. If they need a favor, they expect you to reply back quickly and help them.

Cheapskates:
This is different from saving money. They are the types that buy fancy, expensive things for themselves (it's always about them) but nothing for even their own mothers nor your own b-day. It's always a discount ticket or a cheap buffet, never spoiling you once at least. They are always broke but yet they're wearing expensive shoes, pretending to be wealthy. Or they invite you to their house just to watch a movie but real date.

Liars, lovebombers and scammers:
My ex boyfriend. He asked for money ($1,200) and never paid me back. He was a bum, vampire boyfriend too, lying about future plans and never progressing things. I learned he was really a sociopath that took pleasure in all that. He really wanted to drain all my fertile years for the sake of it. He lovebombed like crazy in the beginning and it was all lies.

There’s a girl who follows my boyfriend. They like each other’s photos. I asked him who she was and if they have sex chats... because that’s how we met. I would never ask him to remove anyone or stop talking to someone, I was just wondering and I said it’s not a big deal. I just wanted to know if he liked her more than he liked me. He said no and then when I looked again she had disappeared from his followers and following lists. Why would he remove her?

My boyfriend of nearly two years said to me this week whilst we were lying in the bed that I had “wide hips”. Well I’m only a UK10/US6 so I don’t consider myself like a kardashian and that is really not what I aspire to be. I just ignored that comment…

The comment that really upset me though was last night. I was in between shaving days for my lady parts (I do a full shave every 2-3 days) and my boyfriend commented how one time having sex he noticed it felt different and I said “what like sandpaper” joking and he said yes!

I go to great lengths to keep myself hair free everywhere and I’m always in the gym trying to look my best. I feel really offended by these two insensitive comments. I asked a male friend and he said that he never would have made either of these comments. I told my boyfriend I was upset immediately after and that he needs to think about what he says before he says it sometimes. He was all apologies but I feel really hurt and unattractive to him
