Search Results: leaving an abusive relationship

So a previous coworker has been staying with me and sleeping on my couch, due to the fact he was in an abusive relationship with his woman of 6 years and had finally had enough. In the midst of leaving her he also quit his job due to the fact she works there. One day he has his kids over as well as his “new girl” and I have myself and my girl we are all relaxing. He was hurting to get some money from his account but due to the bad break up all of his belongings are gone. He proceeds to say he will try to contact his “babies mother “ for her help me and his new girl both don’t have kids but my girl does so I tell him it’s a bad move and an argument awaiting if he does so. He interrupted me to say “I’m not listening to anyone of you two motherfuckers that doesn’t have a baby mom/ baby dad. And only would except advice from my girl because she did. So I snapped simply because this is a constant thing that happens also i never intrude on telling him how or what hat he should be doing In regards to his kids. Mind you the conversation he wanted to have had nothing to do with them. I wanted to know was I wrong for going off.
