This time last year I was involved with a guy that had deep feelings for me. He would say he wants to get married, begged me to have his children, planned our gap year, eventually he moved onto telling me he loves me, continuously. I wasn't ready to open up because of previous heartbreak so I pushed him away hard yet gave him mixed signals. Eventually he concluded I had no feelings for him. This was from March-end of July. November came and I was depressed yet couldn't stop thinking about how much I love him and want a future with him, so I apologised a lot but still didn't know how to tell him how I felt, we spoke on the phone and he expressed that he tried really hard and I just threw it back in his face. December, I decided to improve myself because of the mental breakdown I was experiencing. January came and I accepted I loved him but moved on and got with someone else, yet I couldn't stop thinking about him. February came, he got into contact with me and we met up, he didn't treat me any differently, asked what I thought of him, I told him he needs to improve himself because he feels like he is going crazy. After a few days , I found out that he has a gf now. Which hurt me because a few months ago he said he wasn't ready for a relationship with me, and now he is in one. So, yesterday we met up and he told me he is only seeing this girl (not actual gf) and if I feel anything for him it would confuse him because what happened between us and he can't just leave her because it wouldn't be fair on her. I stated I felt as though he was avoiding me and he said no, just trying to better himself, cope with home (really fucked up situation) and that he has A LOT going on. He tried to get me to confess how I feel because it would make him content, I refused and told him I had no feelings. Later I reflected and thought if it would make him content then I will do it, so I messaged him and still no reply. Do we just keep catching each other at wrong times or is he over me?
