I've known this guy for 4 years now (since my freshman year, we are seniors now) and we became friends last year and have gotten closer since. I started liking him at the end of last school year. He has had a couple of bad relationships and broke up with his ex last winter. By June last year I decided to text him on ig and we would text here and there. The next week he called, that time we ended up in the phone for 4 hours and he fell asleep on the call. While we were on the phone I told him about a movie I wanted to see and he asked who I was going to go with, because I told him I don't like going to the movies alone, I said I wasn't sure. He then offered to go with me so a week later I invited him. We made a plan and he even offered to pick me up and drive together. We went had a good time

Ever since he's been super hot and cold with me. He will engage in conversation with me a lot, then next thing I know he's ignoring me. Recently he replied to my story on ig of a picture of me and my friend. He said "you look very nice". Later that week I texted him and he had just lost a wrestling tournament and got injured and was texting super dry. I called him out on it and all he said was "I'm gonna go ahead and ghost" then he did. So major mixed signals. I don't know if he likes me

I have this guy who has been recently starting liking my ig stories. He likes it almost everytime when I post a photo with my picture on it (mirror selfies, especifically). Is it possible he is interested?

If so, is he waiting for me to like something back so he can dm me?
