I thought most all girls move out and live with boyfriend? I’ve seen many girsl living with boyfriend and have baby & get married years after. Some get lucky and married at 18 . Some divorced single mom with 4 kids. I’m 25 live alone as it’s my dream have my own tiny apartment. I grew up with parents fighting screaming daily as my dad used drugs. Back then I wasn’t able to run away but now as an adult I can run away.
mom says I need live with her until I’m married I can’t live alone. I visit her every 2 months & she stressed me out yesterday when I saw her. All she did at the market was force me get married now cuz my brothers wife’s 5 sisters all are married & im not. The youngest is 28 & got proposed last week.

I’m sad as I have super religious freak family 😓 my landlord isn’t like that she lives with her daughter & she’s not married has 4 kids &her mom isn’t angry at all cuz she has 4 kids & not married.
my mom would beat me for having my first baby at 26 & not married. She knows where I live so she would demand landlord to see me at my house to beat me 😥& she would faint of misery I have baby & not married.
my bfs younger sister has many kids and not married either & her mom isn’t angry or disowning her at all but they all live together with her boyfriend too. 🙁😓

Mine is my dad & in a way I feel bad about feeling this way towards him. He’s a good person but out of everyone in my life he’s always annoyed me the most I lose my patience quickly. I think it stems from when I was younger, my mom divorced him after cheating & I feel like he took his frustration out on me. I’m his only child & my parents are good friends, he lives in another state but I get irritated when he calls too much. It’s known that his side of the family is shitty, he’s single (by choice) & my moms family has always pointed out that I’m all he has which is too much pressure to me. Back in HS/college he used to take his frustration out on me even living in another state & one day I cut all contact with him. We didn’t talk for 3 years & since speaking again we’ve been on good terms. I just lose my patience with him so quickly, he asks the same questions over again & it’s like he thinks he looks cute playing clueless every once in a while. My mom said he does that with me bc he doesn’t know what else to talk about with me, what if I was married or had a man? Would I still be expected to make sure I’m at his beckoning call? I don’t know if I can ever move past this 🫣

I’m 23 living with my mom who quits her job whenever she wants. We are both working and I told her I want to leave in March which is 50+ days away.

She gets upset and says how I’m messed up for leaving the lease and she said I didn’t give her enough notice but when she quits her job ALL of the bills are on me. Our rent is $1095. Even when she works I still pay more than half the bills. I’ve sacrificed my life and given up things such as school even hanging out with friends because I was always being the provider. She blamed me saying she could’ve gotten govt. assistance for housing but I ruined it since she has gotten off of it.

The past 2-3yrs she has had 10+ jobs not even staying at those places for 5 months!! I’m tired and I want to leave. I told her that I’ll stay until the end of the lease but honestly my flight has already been booked for early in the morning on March 29th.

What should I do?

I also need help planning my escape because she gets up early for work & my house stairs is NOT quiet.
