Hi friends, I'm also another lonely guy who's been living in my mom's basement for over 10 years. How to finally leave?

I just saw another post from someone in a similar situation and it gave me the courage to post my own question.

I'm in desperate need of advice on how to finally leave my mom's basement, as I'm starting to feel like a total loser.

My mom doesn't encourage me to leave the basement. In fact, she's been known to give me very little food - so little that I've been forced to eat the flour that the mice have hidden in the ceiling! I'm really at my wits end and don't know what to do.

Can anyone please give me advice on how I can finally leave my mom's basement and start a new life?

For starters, get a job. Save up money over some time and then start researching places you can rent that are in your town. Go view those places, decide which place you’d like to live at and can afford, and then sign the paperwork and move in.

This was a joke question. But for real though, changing your reality starts by changing your consciousness. For one, people who hold on to their past (which doesn't even exist anymore) keep reinforcing what they imagine the past to have been, by dwelling in the mental state of that which they dread.

Should be more like "start with a job with a new mindset".
