How do I leave?

How do I leave my abusive baby daddy if I don’t have money? I can’t take it anymore, and I know it’s affecting my 1 year old and that scares me the most. I just want to pack our things up and just leave….. I don’t have family either so I’m stuck.

If the abuse is physically then you need to call the police and get into a shelter. There isn’t any perfect answer and I’m sorry for what you’re going through.

But I do want you advise you that I’ve seen people in your situation who ended up getting arrested for child neglect, endangerment, and even abuse. Because they allowed whoever it was to abuse her and the child. Absolutely deserved a hundred percent too.

If you don’t want to be in that situation then get your child out of it. Even if your child’s placed in foster care. It’s better then being abused. I don’t hope this happens but you don’t want to permanently loose custody of your child and be shipped off to prison.

Any money you can get from him hold onto and hide. Even if it's 5 dollars a week. Apply for government aid or look for a woman's shelters near you.
