Should I just leave?

So I’ve been friends with this friend group for about a year. They see me as constant and I’m even a roommate for just a few weeks and clean for them as my way to stay. Which they fully appreciate. We have two friends that come over almost weekly and stay about a full week. They eat all the food have my friend (David that I kinda have a thing with) order take out and led them money to get food. They will have him order about 70 worth of McDonald’s and still complain if they didn’t get a box of 36 cookies or the pies that they wanted even though they are ordering late at night. The other roommate’s (Alex) girlfriend (dahlia) is the one who pays for the bulk food and they eat Alex’s that he had made specifically for work without asking. So I wanted to gently approach the situation by just asking them to bring over a few sandwiches and some snacks so they don’t starve ( since they complained we didn’t have any food and Alex told dahlia to stop getting as much so she can save money cause they eat it all) and because the boys are trying to save ( cause David is the main person paying for the apartment then he has to pay for his friends food for the whole week) they completely went off on me. Saying it wasn’t my place, said I was being fat phobic and didn’t care about their eating disorder and basically bullied the shit out of me. David was upset for not waiting for us to have a talk which I get. But he’s also taking that what i said sounded wrong. Everyone else effected by this appreciates what I did cause everyone else was too afraid. These guys guilt trip and the friend group even outside of the apartment are scared to get on their bad side. I’m thinking of just leaving cause I can’t watch my friends be mistreated and fall for the same tricks of manipulation that they always succumb to. by the way these two friends are older and don’t have jobs

David can’t sleep without me I’ve noticed since I’ve been sleeping on the couch. He’ll literally stay up all night playing video games in the same room as me or go as far as falling asleep on the floor if im in the living room. Before I would’ve found that cute now I don’t want anything really to do with him

You should definitely leave. Gluttony is string in them. They are toxic to themselves and everyone around them. And your friend is furling their stupidity. Their stupid excuses of eating like pigs. Being fat is also a mental disorder.

And what I said to them had absolutely nothing to do with their weight. And they took it that way. David has been talking to more friends and I can hear how they are taking my side of things and he keeps saying “idk man “ In almost a dismissive way. I’ll be leaving soon I’m moving into a new apartment soon but I’ve seen who my actual friends are in this situation

I’ll probably still talk to David’s roommates but ya I was only temporary staying. Everyone still contributes someway even if they don’t have money. And David is best friends with this dude even though he skewed him over so many times so that’s his choice but I’m not gonna watch it happen
