I work at a school and have feelings for a colleague. We talk and text regularly. Once, he told our mutual friend he doesn't date in the workplace. I'm leaving in a week and my crush has been helping me job search. Recently, there were days when he would text first 2-3 days in a row. We seemed to have become good friends, having heart-to-hearts. Last Saturday, there was an elementary graduation, and prior to it he had asked me if I'm going. We talked about a student whose parents aren't present much, and he suggested we take the family photo with him if his parents didn't show up. Eventually, I wanted to get back to the party, he went home. I left with the students and noticed him still in sight, walking towards the station. I called out to him, and we took a pic together with some kids. Since then, we've had conversations and text but there's also this other girl who seems to flirt with him at work. Yesterday was my last day with the students, and I've been super emotional. After the kids left, I went straight to see him. But, the other girl was there. He was showing her videos of students, and they laughed together. My former teacher is my colleague and his co-teacher, so she's usually in the room too. I sat with her, and she whispered that she thinks they like each other. I eventually left. Since then, our text convos seem to be short. I can't tell if I've lost my chance or if I'm just emotional.
