Girls, Crush still talking to me and flirting after rejecting me, what does this mean?

As you can see from my previous question I finally worked up the courage to ask my crush out but unfortunately she kind of denied me. I was talking to another girl and my crush became very possessive and making sure she didn't take me away from her or make me cut contact with her. She also asked me while I was starting to become close with this other girl that "could you imagine if me & you got together " I simply replied "I think we would've made it work" and she agreed with me. Me & the other girl decided to call it just friends as we weren't really as compatible as we thought and that's fair. I finally confessed my feelings towards my crush and couldn't give me a straight answer but she did tell me that she was getting close with another guy and that the thought of us being together never crossed her mind. She still talks to me everyday as if I didn't say anything which is strange and I don't really know what it means. Any ideas?

she’s manipulating u. she’s talking to different guys while she only likes one of them. i know this from experience.
