Okay, here's another one for you. Sparked by a discussion I'm having relating to my latest mytake about the origin of INCELS.

Do you think that a significant portion of violence and/or aggression perpetrated by men in the world (directed to towards anyone - both genders), is the result of sexual frustration/angst/not finding willing partners?

And the cause of the sexual frustration is not so much what I'm interested in, but rather the frustration itself.

Do you think that violence in the world would be lessened if men had more sex?

And please don't yell at me. I'm not using the 'TM' phrase that some of you get triggered by. I don't use that phrase, don't believe in it.
And this is my husband's belief. We've been discussing this topic for close to 21 years now. I, personally, am on the fence, as I don't feel that I know enough to have any really informed opinion on it. I've researched male aggression, as it relates to a staunch belief in rigid gender roles (there's a correlation to that), but not as it relates to sexual drive. So this is an open discussion. Please be civil. 💐

Recently my new partner and I started talking about sexual boundaries. When saying that I don't have a lot of positive experience and would prefer to go slow, he looked confused because of my age and bluntly asked if I was a virgin.

I don't want to lie. And became visibly increasingly uncomfortable with the topic. I said it was hard to explain. He kept asking whether I was or not. Eventually I said "technically yes" But I feel scared and guilty.

I wear a purity ring. I don't want to lie to him and build a foundation of distrust, but I also don't want to tell him that a couple years ago 2 of my friends and my ex raped me. I don't want him to know that. It's embarrassing. And I don't think any man would believe me anyway or take it well if they did know. I don't want that kind of attention. And I'm scared if any male knows they got away with it then he would try to assault me too.

What should I do?
