I’m not saying let’s colonize Cuba.

Imperialism is fcked up.

But what if Cuba were to rid itself of Communism after a Civil War?

Would they want to then become part of the United States for an added layer of security?

Because they were a US territory originally, but when they sought independence from us in the past, it quickly led to a dictatorship, which was soon replaced by Cuba’s modern Communist party.

But besides that most Cubans I’ve met seem to love our country even more than like 99.99% of liberals do at this point.

I’ve never been on the ground in Cuba but I know a lot of people from there who seem to really love our country.

If the opportunity were presented to them, I am sure many of them would be in favor of joining the US.

But hopefully Biden doesn’t get rid of the embargo, which after several decades of being in place appears to have worked in the midst of a public health crisis.

Not to mention all of Trump’s policies which seem to have been the straw that broke the Camel’s back.

And yet Democrats are stupid enough to think we should ease up on Cuba.

Things would’ve never gotten to this point if we played soft all along.

So I’m guessing that the Democrats support the Cuban government.

It seems to be upsetting to them that the Cuban people are becoming disobedient of their Government.
