Difference in opinion regarding dating single mothers 20s did it bother him? Why ignore me?

So I was getting to know a guy online and he said he’s still in contact with his ex girlfriend ( single mother she got pregnant at age 22 ) so he was relationship with her for 3 years. They were living together in an apartment he took care of that child even though it’s not his. but after break up he left to his own home ( he’s 37 years old) and after three months of no contact she calls him and the kid crying on the phone saying “ I’m good boy come back” so that hurt him cause he feels she told the kid you’ve been bad so my boyfriend left me. Now he still visits her often giving her money and taking care of the child even though they don’t live together anymore. He says she tries to act as if nothing happened and it hurts him cause the axe forgets but the tree remembers. But he still visits her only for the child ( that’s not his child) and she calls him to fix things in her house cause he’s a maintenance guy. He says I still love her and care for her.

so I was tryna explain to him it’s difficult to settle with single mother. It’s was my genuine opinion and I’m sure most of y'all will have your say otherwise.
but as my opinion regarding single mothers were not in tune with him he started acting distant and eventually ignored me. He basically said his opinion regarding me has lowered. He ended up saying “you’re beautiful but not beautiful enough to endure this torture.”

as y’all can see on my page I’m 32 no kids and got career.

It IS difficult settling down with a single mother. He feels connected to the child, even though it isn’t his. Maybe he thought you weren’t in tune with his feelings for the kid or about the situation. And that it may not be something you’re able to work around.


I still don’t think that comment was necessary or why it even came up. Unless he’s implying that he’s tolerating her behavior because she’s pretty? That’s the concerning part. Many people overlook certain behaviors for really attractive people. But that he brought it up in this context is baffling unless he’s implying that’s his reason for sticking around.

You’re 32 with no kids so you don’t understand the bond of having a child , 3 years is a long time he probably feels protective of them and you just disrespected them so he thinks you’re a bitch. This brings a smile to my face. Why? Discord. You could have agreed with him or at the very least empathized with him. But no you took the woman's side
But this is why I say single mom's are fun to play with. But you NEVER get involved with them. And don't ever meet their kid. It's not good for you and it's not good for the kid to learn his mother is a f*** toy.
This guy broke that rule and look where it got him. (remember she's a single mom for a reason).

He didn’t like the fact I wasn’t talking well about her of what she is been doing. That got him upset and he stopped talking to me. I literally called her a hoe and he went ballistic and said she ain’t a hoe you don’t understand her situation. Her job is paying less now due to pandemic. I was like that’s no excuse for her to get pregnant at age of 22 and expect good things to come along her way. I don't know I was chatting with him all this he took it like I was arguing with him when I was just sharing my opinion. He says you don’t know her situation has gone bad due to pandemic.

by the way now that she had a child at the age of 22. She found him online and lied about her age when they met. He found that out while they were dating she lied about her age and name and everything plus she has mental issues. The guy was 32 when they met. Now after 4 years of relationship right after settling down she shut him out that’s how he left her apartment and went to his place. But like I said in my post she contacted him back and he’s now helping her again. I was like why would a guy do this to himself I understand he loves her but what for?

You're wasting your time even talking to the guy so he did you a favor by ending the communication. He's still in love with that other woman but doesn't want to admit it. There's zero reason for you to be talking to him, unless you just like wasting your time giving free mental health therapy.
