I'm genuinely interested in what you all have to say about this. Didn't really know how to word my question as properly as I'd like to so bear with me.

I am black and realize first-hand that black issues are totally real. Seems like here lately, though, that (generally) black people are the ones that are creating more division between the races, instead of getting rid of it as many claim to desire. Getting offended over everything, becoming very aggressive and narrow-minded when it comes to racial issues, and acting as if blacks are the only race that has ever been oppressed when in fact many other races (including some "white" races in countries outside of the US) have been.

It sort of seems as if some black people have developed a strong sense of entitlement, using the subject of oppression as a crutch, and have taken on a complete victim role, planning to milk it to the very end.

It seems that others races that have indeed been oppressed just as badly don't go around constantly crying oppression. That doesn't mean they don't have a voice or speak up about it. But they don't seem to be deadset on milking their roles as victims.

What are your thoughts on all of this?
