I grew up in Africa. I know of people who enslave and treat their fellow Africans. Some have less value than a donkey or a cow. Sold by their family for money or goods so that everyone else could survive, if the slave does they've no importance.

I mean slavery has been abolished in Mauritania, as an example, for 40 years (1981) & in 2016 people were sent to prison for protesting slavery. That's 35 YEARS slavery was OUTLAWED in Mauritania and people were STILL PRACTICING SLAVERY.

In many countries blacks enslaving other blacks - poorer people, relatives even, etc. - will be practice until the end of time. And the same in other countries - India, China, Brazil, the Congo.

Zaya is 21 years old. Her boyfriend, Kai is 22 years old and deaf. One day, Kai bought her a very beautiful winner jacket ( winter is coming up)

Her mother and stepdad asked her about the jacket. Once they found out the price, the stepdad accused her of being a gold digger and for only dating Kai for his money. Zaya said she wasn't, the stepdad laughed and said bullshit and that she'd get something much cheaper if she wasn't or that she'd take the jacket back. The mother suggested she give the jacket back to him and remind her about the importance of being "humble" and how he probably needs that money.
