Would you, or have you ever, revealed some aspect of your identity to someone online that you didn't know in real life? Whether it be your name, age, country or more specific location where you live, or what you look like? (a picture.) If yes, why? Did you regret it? Did you end up meeting the person? Did they send info back or not, and if they did who sent first?

If you haven't, why not? Is there something about telling someone you don't know that's scary in case they aren't who they say they are? Would you ever consider it if you knew them to be true and had been talking for a long time and became friends?

We're not dating and don't know each other in real life.
