In the age of the Wagyu and Kobe beef, I must say I do prefer a steak with less fats. There's a more pronounced beefy taste, there isn't that tinge of bitter aftertaste you get from a wagyu and you don't feel like shit after eating it. 🤣🤣 Also, it doesn't piss fats all over my cutting board (anyone who has worked with wagyu probably knows how much of a headache it is to wash the cutting board).

My favorite breed for steaks is the Spanish Rubia Gallega, perfect mix of marbling and beefiness with a prime black angus coming in second.

I'd like to know your preferences. To my South American friends, I know the beef there is heavenly but I've never tried them so please feel free to let the rest of us know your favorites!

My crush/friend who I used to work with I would notice numerous little “accidental” touches between us handing something to or showing something with our hands such as reading along in the Bible showing me the line as being read and keep lightly touching my finger and I would always have to move mine before hers and never apologizing for any of these touches either. When we would be around each other if she had to get by she would lightly just bump into me or lightly brush against me instead of saying “excuse me” or trying to signal me to move. Lost track of how many all of these “accidents “ happened but I remember it happened enough times to where I started to play a game in my head to guess if she would find a way to “ touch “ me somehow lol. I’m aware confirmation bias could be in play here, but I swear I’ve never experienced this with any woman/girl before unless we were dating or was obviously into each other. When we would sit across or by each other in the break room her feet would touch mine and I would always have to move my foot first. Happened multiple times , maybe she was clumsy or naive. I was mid 20’s she was 19-21 years old and she is very religious not sure if those details matter.

I have known my friend Rich since 3rd grade. We grew up together but took different career paths. I went to college and got a degree in business. I got an alright job, but nothing to get excited about. Rich screwed around. He took the first job that was offered to him as a favor from a friend. He hated it and complained every day. By his own admission, he was terrible and close to being fired a few times. He did the bare minimum and cut corners whenever possible. He was also one foot out the door always. Then a different company was in desperate need of a logistics manager, and they did not know his work ethic. All they knew was he had enough experience, and he knew all the lingo to ace the job interview. By his own admission, he conned them into believing he was something he isn't.
I was happy 4 him. I believed he would straighten up, and it would be good for him. He didn't change and was a terrible manager, his words. He would talk badly about his employees to me and curse them for doing things he would do himself. He would hide and sleep on the job or get caught up on Netflix, or take an hour of work and turn it into his whole day. Still, he complained constantly and talked about how bad the company is. He felt justified because they were terrible in his eyes. He also constantly complained about leaving.
Now, he has lucked into the same opportunity. A new company is looking for a senior logistics manager, and he fits their needs based on his experience and his LinkedIn profile, which is made entirely of lies. He was just talking about quitting and, and now he is acting like he is a prestigious senior manager. He admits that this is undeserving, but he will still expect me to make a big deal of it and take him out for a drink. I don't think he at all deserves this, and I am kind of disgusted that he keeps lucking into these promotions. But what are my options? Do I have to just pretend to be happy for him, or can I get away with just a congratulations and drop it?
