So I'm thinking about moving out of the shit town I live in and getting a mortgage in a nice suburb. TBH I'm also moving there because they have a Judo school and I'm planning on moving again one I get my black belt in about 6 years then by then I will have enough money to pay off the rest of the mortgage and build a luxury beachfront home, and yes I have the money to do that.. But I'm also going to start dating again one I move, and here's where I start to have doubts. Will she be willing to move with me across the state?

It wouldn't be much of a problem for me because I'm self employed and I work mostly from home, but what about her career? I know it might depend on the person but I want to have a general understanding.

I'm also wondering what would be the correct process of doing that? Like, do I let her know my future plans years in advance? Can she still start where she left off in her career?

When I have initiated a break up of a relationship, I have always had some lingering doubts about whether I've done the right thing. The prospect of being alone, of never again sharing the good times that we had, missing her touch, her smell, her laugh. . . all of those are reasons to pause and wonder whether I have done the right thing. Most major decisions in life cause me to at least consider the possibility that I have made a mistake. I accept that as part of the process of breaking up and not a good reason to try to put things back together.

I've had two break ups that led to such substantial doubt that I wanted to put things back together. The first time, we broke up in 1980, reunited in 2003, married in 2005, and divorced in 2007. Obviously. . . the reunion was a mistake.

The second time was 2007. We broke up because she moved four hours away and it just wasn't practical to try to maintain the relationship at that distance. I have seen Oksana a few times since the break up, and they were pleasant occasions, but we are still at a distance. . . and I now have a girlfriend who lives with me. I haven't spoken to Oksana since I met my current girlfriend. Who knows what the future may hold for us? I am hoping that my current girlfriend and I work out long term but we have had some trials recently. I try not to think of Oksana but I don't know how to delete those memories from my hard drive.

Have you ever broken up a relationship and then tried to put it back together? What happened? Was the relationship successful after the reunion?

First let me clarify, If he abused you, hit you, was an alcoholic or drug addict or someone who is lazy, not mabitions and doest wanna build a future then its obvious you made the right choice by ending it.

With that being said, according to statistics and real life as well, women are usually the ones ending the relationship, and i can't ignore the fact that some men who are dumped turn out to be actually pretty decent looks and personality wise and (later on) financially as well... and it makes me wonder if the woman made the right decision and if she ever regretted it ( i am sure she thought she had a good reason at the time ) .
