I moved far away from where I grew up and sometimes I miss it. I wonder if a good way to both relive my memories, and allow a mate to get to know me more deeply is to take my girlfriend on such a trip once I have one. I dont believe young people will get any happier. I think people in their 20s are relatively so broke and hopeless, and not amazed by almost anything because of prior exposure with the internet, that the mid-life crisis will just become a horribly unhappy time.
