Undoing indoctrination is not an overnight process. It will take years if not generations of prominent, successful women portraying to the world that their choices actually led to a better life and more happiness. It’s easier to fool someone than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.

I believe that to be true.
I didn't grow up with a Father figure in my life, but I have to say that the thought crossed my mind when I was reading the question to your poll - that maybe it's because Trump might remind these women of their own Father and so they chose the opposite type.
You have to admit that Trump is very demanding and a perfectionist among other things and he might have scared these women off 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why would women vote for the party that wants to take away their rights? Funnily enough that's the non-crazy ideology voting for your own best interest. Most women want the ability and right to Abortion even if they'll never actually have one, being a prime example.

Pretty much, there's exceptions but the common thing to do is vote for what puts you first not others. And even votes for others can be to benefit yourself, switching a stance to be liked or seen as empathetic or being paid for such view.
I think it's the rarest thing for someone to vote against their own personal benefit genuinely. And typically a own interest conflicts with someone else's.
