1) Able to be yourself? Do you feel like you have to put on a front with your SO? Also, how nervous are you when your guard drops? Lots of abused women report having to be “on guard” 24/7 in what they say, or act or even wear. Are you always exhausted with your SO? That may be a sign.
2) Do you laugh? Like most conversations, are you laughing with each other? You don’t have to be a comedian. We laugh and have fun talking about reality shows are whatever. But unhealthy SO’s don’t laugh as much. And unhealthy mates HATE laughing at themselves.
3) Do you fight? It’s ok to. I see it more as venting, as well as fixing the relationship. But how bad the fights get is key too. Also, how fast can you makeup?
4) Do they trust you? Are they going through your phone? Always scrolling through social media, sensitive to minor flirtations from others? Do they try to control your schedule? That’s them being insecure about themselves. And is abusive.

I met this girl, and right from the start we just clicked. I would flirt with her and she would react positively when I did. We have everything in common, we could talk for hours and not run out of things to say, we laughed and smiled everytime we were hanging out one-on-one. I have met a lot girls in my lifetime. I knew, something special was between us and honestly, I still feel the same way, I never felt this way before. We both like each other! She noticed that we are 1 year and 8 or 4 months apart, she told me that she likes me but... needs time to think about her and I dating. So, I told her that I respect that and come to me when your ready. Two days after that happened... She kept on looking at me and she kept on walking back and forth, in front of me or behind me? I guess, to get my attention. I don't know. But, she kept on looking at me. She would stay back after class, just to see me. The weird thing is... it seemed like every time I was somewhere, she was there too (when at times she usually isn't.) The only thing was... she didn't say anything tho. She was kinda distant. But, looked at me from afar, and seemed to be always in a place that she wasn't checking a glance at me. She might have wanted my attention... I don't know. I don't know what is going on. I am so lost and confused. What I can remember is that her arms were crossed. I don't know. Are ALL of these good or bad signs? After that day, all I can think about is her... I still feel like there is something there between us. Is this a good or bad sign? Should I keep giving her time and space to think? How should I go about this? ... my friends and her friend told me that she might be confused on her feelings towards me or doesn't know what she wants, even tho... we both know that we like each other.
