I went through hell and back recovering from a bad addiction that I succumbed to 3 years ago. Almost 2 years clean now.

I process literally crushed any lingering vestiges of youth I had. It’s aged me both physically and mentally. I still look good for my age but I’m not getting dates with pretty girls in their early 20s like I was just 5 years ago anymore. That’s life and I have to accept it. But the mental stress of what I went through did have a real impact

Anyway my recovery was extremely painful but it mentally matured me exponentially. I’ve gained a lot more wisdom and understanding myself and other people. I think very differently compared to 3 years ago. I am much better and more insightful/calmer interpersonally. I listen more and pick up on other peoples mindsights vs a few short years ago when I let my ego usually do most of my thinking.

My girls a senior in high school ok? When we first got together she told me 1 night that she's slapped a few guys for some different reasons. I didn't say anything about it but I was thinking😏😏that won't be me cuz I'll block her hand if she tries. Now I'm not talking about hitting back ok? Well it's happened TWICE now at her house after school and yesterday it was in the kitchen. It's only half serious tho. I admit I'm a smartass sometimes but still wtf😕Well we were in the kitchen and I said something smartass and she's all uhhhh😮😮😮faced me and fr she's got a cute face so my mouth hung down and I froze. She goes whoooop-her right hand flips outside and hangs way tf out and I'm 😨😨😨cuz of how fast her hand is n how far she hangs it out. I can't block that😬can't even move! So I look at her face n my mouth falls open frozen. I got my face turned slapped easily. I was mad asf and left. I went by this karate class place n was looking in thinking about taking it so I can block her hand😗. But I left and walked away deciding not to because I didn't see any cute brunette chicks like her in there, I mean they dunno her... they'd get slapped easy asf by her too😒Should I admit to her I went by there and why and just say sorry for how I was?
