Every single guy I meet turns out bad from online dating.
I have low self esteem but I try to work with it.

1st guy dumped me. Smoked too much/ drinked.
2nd guy dumped me twice. Had issues with alcohol, semi cheated on me, talked to too many girls, smoked too much.

I took a 4 month break.

3rd guy stood me up twice. Worked at a nice company liked similar things I liked. He seemed nice but never sent me pics of himself. Always asked for mine.
4th guy dumped me because he said he doesn't like girls that like glasses. Also works at a very nice company as well. He always wanted pictures of me as well but never sent them of himself.

I'm very open minded and I'm not picky on looks.
Any guy that messages me and starts a conversation I talk to.
They end up talking to me for a bit but then they leave or they don't message back. I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong.
I try talking to different guys... I text flirty like.
Is it because I settle to early? I try to have them take the lead as well but it just doesn't work. I didn't choose these guys based on their qualities... they show up later the more we talk. They hide them before I even say no to those kind of things.

Which one attracts you more? Believe it or not, guys are really picky and outspoken about what they want in a female. I've talked to a few dudes and they've all been clear about what they prefer for someone long-term verses someone just for the moment. I was surprised at how serious they were about this. Like they really take everything into account when they're choosing who they wanna be with. One of the most common turn offs I came across for guys are when the girl is successful for her looks... so like she's a fitness model, a fashion model, or something that just doesn't involve education and paperwork. So does that mean you rather have someone who works at a 9-5 office job? Its not like there's something wrong with that but I think the creativity the girls in the "looks" department needs to be considered a little bit. Like rather than settling for a regular office job, theyre thinking outside the box and using the resources they have to be successful, almost like their own bosses. So lets say she works out, she's recognized on Instagram and now she's famous and gets paid through social media and her website. Yeah she's attractive which helped but he's not just settling down to an office or serious job. If she wants to be a doctor or lawyer then great but I dont think the other girls should get knocked down because theyre in the "beauty department." So what would you prefer, why, and what does it mean when guys prefer someone more serious and stable?

With this guy 8 weeks while we are still dating and it's early. He has already met my mam, because we do spend time in my house, so he asked could I introduce him. But his mother just posted a joke thing to his fb about being single and he should hurry because his getting old and can't be picky.

So by the looks of it she doesn't know anything about me. While it shouldn't it's really after upsetting me. I thought he would have mentioned me at least. He did tell me in the past that his mother will hit him with a 100 questions when he starts seeing someone. He is the only boy in the family so I'm sure his mam dotes on him.

Would it bother you if he didn't tell his family about you. ? Is it different for guys when bringing a girl home?
