Search Results: making difficult decisions

Since I totaled my car last month, it has made things a lot more difficult to get around. Thankfully, I'm ok. I didn't have any injuries, cuts, bruises, etc but since I am still living in the suburbs of Chicago, it is super hard to get around, even just to do basic stuff like get groceries, go to the gym, and other errands.

Having talked to this with my parents, they said I could either buy their car off of them and not move to the city. I could also not get a car and save to move into the city to be closer to work where I won't need a car, but it'd in the spring/summer time making it difficult to get around in the winter. Otherwise I thought about getting a beater car that I would just use for local driving until I move to the city.

It is not an easy decision at all, because having a car in the suburbs is MANDATORY. While I do have friends to pick me up, I can't rely on them all the time as they have their own lives. Not that I expect that anyways. Lyfts/Uber rides are also more expensive out here in the suburbs than in Chicago. I used to drive for Lyft myself.

I know that this is a hot topic. But I believe males have done a good job at maintaining everything in order. Whereas women usually feel better when they’re taken care of, and when they take care of their children at home and care for her husband.

And please know that I don’t think any of these roles is inferior or superior to the other. It’s sad that females are even insulted at the chance of nurturing a baby, something that only the female can do. But no, they choose to lead and even act bitchy towards men just to prove something.

I know this is a difficult topic but I know women are naturally more inclined to nurture and to care for someone else. Men protect women as they’ve always done, and they usually do a better job at leading and making big decisions.

I want to hear opinions, not insults.
