My poem entry about childhood

Anonymous

Innocence lives within us all, but we forget when we grow tall.

As we get older, the world appears colder to us.

Soon you miss the days when you could wake up in the morning and watch your favorite cartoon,

and when you'd get a little cranky you would take a nap in the afternoon.

The most difficult decision you had to make, was whether your favorite animal was a turtle or a snake.

Now you are left making decisions that could put your life at stake.

Life was easier being a small, tiny human.

Getting older means less time for snoozin'.

Adulting is hard, this has been proven.

Too many problems, not enough solutions.

Someone give me a damn nap and tell me adulthood is an illusion.
